19 weeks and counting…
The ongoing maternity session continues with my friend/willing model/baby maker! When I took these photos last week, she was 19 weeks along and still looking gorgeous as ever. This shoot was a lot of fun; we decided to keep it casual and try some shots near the marina in our little beach town of Rota. Then, just to mix it up a bit, we walked along the narrow, cobblestone streets in town until we found a semi-secluded street with good light and a pretty backdrop.
I’m discovering that I enjoy doing these types of portrait sessions more and more. The scouting of locations, lugging around my camera gear (two cameras and a large reflector in this case), the anticipation of getting the shot…..it all adds to the excitement and joy. Even getting funny looks from Spanish kids on mopeds didn’t faze us. It may sound incredibly cheesy, but for me this isn’t work. This is simply doing what I love.

Kudos Jenna, for making being pregnant in Spain look so good. And chic.
